The Seattle Mariners 2026 schedule is officially out, but this coming year is going to have some odd wrinkles it in because of the World Cup being played across the street at Lumen Field.
The schedule release is always a fun day for any team you support, it's a day for me that I looked at the schedule is start deciding which games I want to be at, if there are any away games I want to vacation at, and it's just exciting in general.
For the Seattle Mariners schedule, the World Cup being played at Lumen Field (home of the Seattle Seahawks), is causing some really interesting changes you don't usually see.

A PLANNED double-header? A three-game series with one random day off? Yes, both these things are happening.
A few nuggets on the Mariners' 2026 schedule:
- Opening Day at home
- 2 homestands coinciding with FIFA World Cup in Seattle, resulting in June 20 doubleheader vs. BOS
- & Mid-series off-day vs. LAA on July 1
- Fourth of July Weekend vs. TOR
- 19 of final 22 games vs. AL West
June 20th double header vs. the Red Sox is quite interesting to have pre-planned, so you if you want A LOT of baseball, plan to show up June 20th.
