It's no secret that the Seattle Mariners have not been an offensive powerhouse throughout the years. And our outfield is no different. Let's not even get to how it feels like we've spent our whole franchise's history trying to find an LF. But that's another conversation for another day. The Seattle Mariners outfield did something on Wednesday, August 28th against the Rays that hasn't been done since 2006. Randy Arozarena, Julio Rodriguez, and Victor Robles were the first trio of Mariners outfielders to record multiple hits and a home run in the same game together since 2006:
It's hard to imagine that it took 18 years for a trio of outfielders to accomplish this feat. And speaking of LF's Raul Ibanez might be the best one we had over the last 40 years. Let's just hope we don't take another 18 years to accomplish this again.LF @RandyArozarena, CF @JRODshow44 & RF Victor Robles: first @Mariners starting outfield to homer and record multiple hits in the same game since Aug. 29, 2006 vs. Los Angeles-AL (LF Raúl Ibañez, CF Ichiro Suzuki, RF Chris Snelling). https://t.co/TAx5ly0sgR
