The Seattle Seahawks have a bell cow runningback in Kenneth Walker III, but they don't seem to use him enough, or the right way...
The Seahawks suffered an awful loss 37-3 to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, and for the 2nd game in a row the Seahawks did not give Walker the ball enough.
When Walker is given the ball, he produces, let's look at some of his games in wins:
- WIN versus Detriot Lions: 17 carries for 43 yards and 2 touchdowns
- WIN versus Carolina Panthers: 18 carries for 97 yards and 2 touchdowns
- WIN versus New York Giants: 17 carries for 79 yards and 1 touchdown
- WIN versus Arizona Cardinals: 26 carries for 105 yards
For the last two games, the Seahawks just aren't giving Walker the ball, even in the win against the Cleveland Browns:
- WIN versus Cleveland Browns: 8 carries for 66 yards (!!!)
- LOSS veruss Baltimore Ravens: 9 carries 16 yards
Not sure what is going on with the game plan, but the Seahawks need to establish the run game.
