The Sounders Are Unstoppable at Home and FC Dallas Just Found Out the Hard Way

The Seattle Sounders are on a roll at Lumen Field and showing zero signs of slowing down. Saturday's 2-1 win over FC Dallas extended their unbeaten streak at home to 20 matches. That's not just good. That's the kind of fortress mentality that wins championships.

Ferreira Finds the Back of the Net

Jesús Ferreira got the Sounders rolling early, scoring his first goal of the season just 15 minutes into the match against Dallas. The striker had a massive 2025 campaign in his first year with the club, logging 48 all-competition appearances. If Ferreira is getting hot early in April, Seattle's offense is going to be a problem for every team coming into the Emerald City.

The Home Fortress Continues

A 20-game unbeaten streak at Lumen Field is the kind of stat that puts fear into opponents' eyes. Saturday's result proves the Sounders know how to take care of business at home, and that's going to be crucial as the season unfolds. When you're that dominant in your own building, it changes how teams approach playing you.

Three Big Ones Coming Home

The Sounders return to Lumen Field on May 9 to host San Diego, kicking off a three-game homestand that could define their early season momentum. San Jose arrives on May 13, followed by the LA Galaxy on May 16. That's a brutal stretch for any team trying to compete with Seattle at home. If the Sounders keep this train rolling, they'll be sitting pretty heading into the meat of the season.
