The Spurs Just Won Their 11th Straight and Nobody in the West Saw It Coming

San Antonio is on an absolute tear right now, and they proved it on April 2 by rolling past the LA Clippers, 118-99. This wasn't some close battle either. The Spurs dominated from start to finish, and with an 11-game winning streak now in the books, they're looking like one of the hottest teams heading into the final stretch of the season.

San Antonio's Dominance on Full Display

When you're winning 11 in a row, you're doing something right. The Spurs showed why against the Clippers with a convincing 19-point victory. This kind of performance in early April matters because the playoff race is heating up and every win counts. San Antonio isn't just sneaking past teams, they're beating them convincingly, which is the kind of momentum you want when the stakes get real.

The Bigger Picture in the West

While the Spurs were handling business in San Antonio, the rest of the Western Conference was playing out their own storylines. The Thunder absolutely demolished the Lakers, winning 139-96 with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander putting on a show with 28 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. Over in the East, the Pistons beat the Timberwolves, 113-108, and are getting closer to locking down the No. 1 seed. The Cavaliers clinched a playoff spot with a win over the Warriors, 118-111, and they're now within just one game of the No. 3 seed in the East.

But the story of the night belongs to San Antonio. An 11-game winning streak is the kind of run that gets teams thinking deep into April and beyond. With the Spurs playing this well right now, they're the kind of team that could make some real noise when it matters most.
