The United Bowl Is Coming to D.C. on June 13, and Spring Football Just Got Real

The UFL is bringing its championship game to the nation's capital. On June 13, Audi Field in Washington, D.C. will host the 2026 United Bowl, the spring football league's title matchup, with the game airing at 3 p.m. ET on ABC. This is the moment the entire season has been building toward.

A Championship Stage Worthy of the Moment

Washington, D.C. is the perfect place for this. The defending UFL champion DC Defenders call Audi Field home, which means the defending champs will play for another title on their own turf. The stadium also hosts D.C. United of MLS and the Washington Spirit of the NWSL, so it's already proven it can handle big moments and passionate crowds.

UFL co-owner Mike Repole didn't hold back in his enthusiasm. "Washington, D.C., is built for big moments and the 2026 United Bowl will be exactly that," Repole said. "This is the pinnacle of spring football, where energy, intensity, and fans collide. Audi Field will deliver a championship atmosphere worthy of the stage."

Why the Name Matters

The league renamed the championship game the United Bowl, a decision that reflects the UFL's broader mission. According to league officials, the name "embodies the UFL's identity and mission to bring fans, players, and communities together through a shared love of football." UFL president and CEO Russ Brandon tied it directly to the moment: "As we celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States, there is no better stage than our nation's capital to highlight the energy, spirit, and teamwork of America's true passion, the game of football."

This is spring football at its biggest. Two teams will fight it out on June 13 for the ultimate prize. Mark your calendars.
