The Washington Huskies Take Care Of Business Against Eastern Michigan

The Washington Huskies hosted the Eastern Michigan Eagles at Husky Stadium and took care of business 30-9 to improve to 2-0 in the Jedd Fisch era.

The Huskies started off the game with a slow start for the second consecutive week before kicking it into gear and scoring TDs in on three straight drives in the second quarter. Despite the slow start the Huskies felt like they were in control of the game from the opening whistle. Quarterback, Will Rogers shined with four TD passes. However, for the second straight week the brightest player to shine was Jonah Coleman who had 104 yards on just 11 carries. The defense once again held their opponent out of the end zone, and Washington has yet to allow a touchdown so far this season. This is also the Huskies 20th straight regular season win.

The Huskies take on the Washington State Cougars in the Apple Cup next week, which will prove to be the biggest challenge so far in this young season.
