These Are The Worst NFL QB Seasons Ever

Every NFL team had a clunker of a season by a Quarterback and won the fans want to forget. These are the worst NFL seasons by a QB for each NFL team ever.
Arizona Cardinals - Josh Rosen (2018)

Rosen's rookie year was horrid. The 10th overall pick went 3-13 and had an NFL worst 66.7 pass rating. He threw 11 TDs to 14 INTs.
Atlanta Falcons - Kim McQuilken (1975)

In the mid 70s he had historically inept QB play for Atlanta. In 7 starts he went 2-5 and had 29 Interception to 4 TDs for a 17.9 passer rating. To put that in perspective if he just spiked the ball every play he would have had a higher passer rating.
Baltimore Ravens- Chris Redman (2002)

Just two years removed from winning the Super Bowl the Ravens turned to Redman to start. The former third round pick went 1-5 as a starter with 4 TDs and 7 INTs before losing his job.

Cincinnati Bengals - Akili Smith (2000)

Smith was the 3rd overall pick in 1999. In his second season he went 2-9 as a starter and threw just 3 TD passes in those 11 games. He was one of the biggest draft busts of all time.
Cleveland Browns- DeShone Kizer (2017)

Kizer got one season as a starter in Cleveland and it was plain awful. He led the NFL in interceptions as a rookie and went 0-15 as a starter. It was bad even by Browns standards.
Dallas Cowboys- Steve Pelluer (1987)

Pelluer took over a solid Cowboys team and drove them straight to the ground. The 1987 was historically bad. He threw 17 INTs to only 8 TDs. And the Cowboys had a disaster of a season.

Before the days of John Elway there was the days of Steve Ramsey. In 1971-1972 he completed under 50% of his passes and a 119 yards per game.

Indianapolis Colts- Jeff George (1991)

George was a hometown hero and a former number 1 overall pick. The Colts had a horrid season going 1-15. And he threw 15 INTs to 10 TDs.

Kansas City Chiefs- Brodie Croyle (2007)

He had so many chances to win a game as a starter in the NFL but he just never did it. He was 0-10 in his career. But in 2007 he started 6 games and went 4-12.
Las Vegas (OAKLAND) Raiders- Jamarcus Russell (2009)

Russell the infamous #1 pick in 2007. In 9 games 2-7 threw 3 TDs and 11 INTs.
Los Angeles Chargers (SAN DIEGO)- Ryan Leaf (1998)

He was the number 2 overall pick and went 3-6 as a starter that season. He completed just 45.3% of his passes and had 2 touchdowns versus 15 INTs.

New Orleans Saints- Danny Wuerffel (1997)

The 1996 Heisman trophy winner was not a good NFL QB by any stretch. He started 6 games that season going 2-4. He threw more than double (9) INTs to his touchdowns (4).
New York Giants- Joe Pisarcik (1978)

Pisarcik is best known for 1978 "Miracle at the Meadowlands" fumble. In 1978 he posted a ugly 53.9 passer rating.
New York Jets- Browning Nagle (1992)

Nagle had one season for the Jets. He went 3-10 as a starter with just a 51.1 completion percentage. But his TD to INT ratio was the worst part 7 TDs to 17 INTs.
Philadelphia Eagles- Bobby Hoying (1998)

He had a good finish to the 1997 season. He started 8 games and didn't throw a single TD.
Pittsburgh Steelers- Mark Malone (1987)

Malone struggled in the mid 80s.. In 1987 he had a woeful 46% completion percentage. 5-6 record overall.

After Warren Moon's departure the situation imploded. He started 7 games for the Oilers and went 0-7 with just 6 TDs and 7 INTs.
Washington Commanders (Redskins) - Heath Shuler (1994)

He was supposed to be the QB of the future. But he was a fiasco. He went 3-5 as a starter with just a 45.3% completion rate.
