O.J. Simpson's #32 Might Be Banned From The NFL Forever, And It's Only June!

Alright, 12s, can you even believe what’s going on in the league right now? It's barely summer, and the NFL is already serving up more drama than a primetime series. Seriously, hold onto your hats, because there's a serious push being made for the NFL to ban O.J. Simpson’s jersey No. 32 league-wide. Yeah, you read that right. Banning a number, forever. That's a conversation that’s gonna spark some major debate, and it just kicks off what’s already a wild offseason around the league.

QBs Around The League Are Already Making Headlines (And Not Always Good Ones)

While we're all just trying to enjoy a Seattle summer, some other teams are already dealing with serious headaches, especially under center. Take Bo Nix over in Denver, for example. The Broncos are back on the field for OTAs, the first time since they lost the AFC championship game to New England, and guess what? Nix is watching from a suite. His surgically repaired right ankle is in a cast, sidelined after a second procedure. Man, that's just brutal for Broncos fans hoping for a fresh start. You gotta feel for them a bit, right? Then there’s the Cleveland Browns, where their quarterback battle has already taken a sudden, unexpected turn. Shedeur Sanders, who started the final seven games of the 2025 season for them, reportedly had a rough start to his second NFL training camp. "Rough start" and "unexpected turn" are not exactly the words you want to hear about your young QB at this stage. It just goes to show how quickly things can get spicy even before the real games begin.

Trade Bombs And Locker Room Leaks Are Exploding Before Kickoff

It’s not just QBs making waves. The drama around the league is already hitting fever pitch. Can you believe AJ Brown admitted he was behind the Eagles leaks? The dude is apparently the most-hated man in Philly right now, and honestly, can you blame them? Talk about wild! And the player movement? Maxx Crosby was initially agreed to be sent from the Las Vegas Raiders to the Baltimore Ravens for a couple of... well, the details are still fuzzy, but a move was on the table! Over in Cleveland, they landed Jared Verse in a blockbuster deal that sent two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams. Verse opened up about the trade, saying it was "upsetting" to go from the Super Bowl favorite Rams to a team projected to have... you know, a different kind of season. The Rams, meanwhile, were celebrating landing Garrett, so it’s a whole mixed bag of emotions. Even the Patriots are in on the action, adding Romeo Doubs to their wide receiver room as they prepare for a 2026 NFL season where they're trying to win Super Bowl 61. And just because it’s the NFL, Mack Hollins, a Patriots wide receiver, even got blasted for wearing some dumb clothing item under his uniform at OTAs. Never a dull moment, man! It's barely summer, and the NFL is already a circus, man. With these kinds of headlines hitting before we even get to training camp proper, you know we’ll be watching every twist and turn. What a league! Get ready, because the season proper is gonna be something else.
