Jacob Misiorowski Threw 5 of the Fastest Pitches Ever Recorded by a Starting Pitcher Against the Yankees, All in the 1st Inning

Milwaukee Brewers starter Jacob Misiorowski put on an absolute velocity clinic last night against New York, unleashing five of the fastest pitches ever recorded by a starting pitcher all before the Yankees got out of the first inning. We're talking historic arm talent on full display.

The Brewers Got the Win in 10

Milwaukee grabbed a 4-3 victory over the Yankees in extra innings, with Aaron Ashby earning the win and Fernando Cruz taking the loss. It was a tight battle that went the distance, but Misiorowski's dominant start set the tone early. This is the kind of performance that reminds you why young flame-throwing arms can take over a game from the opening pitch.

Five Pitches That Made History

What makes this even wilder is the timing. All five of those elite-velocity heaters came in the first inning. That's the kind of early aggression that can completely disrupt a hitter's approach. Misiorowski wasn't easing into the game or working to a game plan, he was coming out and saying "you're facing the hardest stuff I've got, right now." Yankees batters had to adjust to something they don't see often, and it showed.

The Brewers are sitting at 21-16, still battling in the early season grind. Performances like this from Misiorowski give Milwaukee a legitimate ace-level weapon when he's on, and last night he was absolutely locked in. If he can repeat this kind of velocity display consistently, he's going to be a nightmare for opposing lineups all season long.
