Jacob Misiorowski Threw 5 of the Fastest Pitches Ever Recorded by a Starting Pitcher Against the Yankees. All in the First Inning.

Milwaukee's Jacob Misiorowski has officially arrived, and the baseball world saw it happen in real time on Thursday night. The Brewers' young gun took the mound against the Yankees and did something that had never been done before: he fired off five pitches that rank among the fastest ever thrown by a starting pitcher in MLB history. Better yet? All five came in the opening frame.

A First Inning Nobody Will Forget

When you watch a starting pitcher come out and immediately touch velocities that belong in a highlight reel, you know something special is happening. Misiorowski didn't mess around. He came out firing from pitch one, painting fastballs that had Yankees hitters looking lost in the box. The fact that five different pitches crossed the line into historic velocity territory, and all in the span of one inning, tells you this wasn't just a good night for the young arm. This was a statement.

What This Means for the Brewers

Finding a dominant starting pitcher who can throw gas like this isn't easy. Misiorowski has flashed potential before, but Thursday night was different. When a young pitcher can consistently hit those elite fastball velocities against a lineup as tough as New York's, you're looking at a guy who could anchor a rotation for years. The Brewers need arms that can dominate in big moments, and this performance proves Misiorowski has what it takes to be that guy.

The baseball world is watching now. After a night like that, everyone knows his name, and they know what he's capable of doing.
