Mikel Oyarzabal's UNFORGETTABLE First Half and Spain's 4-0 Stomp on Saudi Arabia Has This World Cup POPPIN'
Alright, Seattle, grab your coffee, maybe a pint, because if you somehow missed Spain absolutely tearing it up in the World Cup today, you need to catch up. Seriously, the highlights from their 4-0 demolition of Saudi Arabia are already hot off the presses, dropping just 54 minutes ago, and they're a must-see. This wasn't just a win, folks, this was a statement. Spain came out swinging, showing everyone in the Emerald City and beyond exactly what they’re capable of on the global stage. What a way to kick off the action!
Mikel Oyarzabal's First Half Was Just UNREAL
Talk about a masterclass! Mikel Oyarzabal absolutely owned the pitch in the first half against Saudi Arabia. We're talking about an unforgettable performance, the kind of legendary stuff that makes you replay the highlights reel over and over. He didn't score, he put away two goals in that first half! Yeah, you read that right, a double in a World Cup game, setting the tone like nobody's business. The man was a machine, clinical and ruthless, and it screams that Spain is not here to mess around. This wasn't some slow build, this was Oyarzabal hitting the gas pedal from the jump, leaving Saudi Arabia scrambling and making us all wonder, "how quickly did he even score those?" Pure fire!

The Goal Parade Didn't Stop There
And when you thought Oyarzabal was done dropping jaws, the rest of the squad decided to join the party. Young gun Lamine Yamal, the dude everyone's been talking about, officially opened his FIFA World Cup account in this win. That's a massive moment for any player, especially on this stage. Then, get ready for this: another one of Spain's goals came from a ridiculously sweet volley by Cucurella, forcing an own goal to push them to that commanding 4-0 lead. The way it went down, the ball didn't even touch the ground on that goal, which is pure skill and a little bit of magic. Spain was a massive favorite coming into this, at -962 odds, and they delivered in spades, blowing right past the over 3.5 total. This wasn't a fluke, it was a total team effort, a clean sheet, and a complete dismantling of Saudi Arabia. You love to see it!
So, what's the takeaway from this absolute clinic? Spain is here to play for keeps. They just dropped a dominant 4-0 victory, showcasing incredible individual brilliance and seamless team play. They've sent a crystal-clear message to every other squad in this World Cup. For us, the 12s, it means this tournament is going to be packed with high-octane action. Keep your eyes absolutely glued to this Spanish squad, because if today's performance is any indication, we're in for a wild ride. Don't miss a single second of what they do next! This World Cup is heating up, and Spain is leading the charge.
