During the Seattle Mariners versus The Athletics (they are no longer the Oakland Athletics) game on Sunday, a kid in a Seattle Mariners jersey went viral for eating a bag of popcorn and enjoying it. I am sure he also enjoyed the result on the field as the Mariners won 11-4 and Cal Raleigh blasted two home runs to break the record for most HRs in a season by a catcher. But this kid stole the show with his popcorn eating enjoyment.

This is some wholesome stuff. There is a lot that social media has ruined in the world but there is also moments like this captured for the world to see. This kids parents I am sure have been sent the clip 100s of times by friends and family, and this will be the treasure trove for the family forever. And the kid? Well he's just enjoying the simple pleasures in life. Nothing like having some popcorn in the summer time at one of the best ballparks in MLB.
