Bud Clark Is a Seahawk, and There's Only One Draft Pick Left Unsigned

The Seahawks finally got one done. On Wednesday, the team announced they signed second-round draft pick Bud Clark to a deal, which means there's only one unsigned pick still hanging in the balance. That's first-round running back Jadarian Price, who the front office still needs to get under contract.

Clark Gets His Deal Done

Clark, the safety out of TCU who went 64th overall, locked in a standard four-year contract worth up to $7.878 million. The signing bonus? $2.198 million. It's a straightforward deal for a guy Mike Macdonald and the coaching staff clearly wanted in the building.

One Name Left on the List

With Clark signed, the Seahawks are nearly there on draft class signings. Price, their first-round pick at running back, is the last one standing unsigned. That's the priority now, getting the franchise's top pick this year locked down and ready to roll for the season.

The goal was always to get the rookies signed and integrated into the system early. Clark's deal being done is another box checked, another piece of the puzzle in place for what's shaping up to be a crucial year in Lumen Field.
