While Chris Sale is a formidable presence on the mound, known for his blistering fastball and intimidating slider, off the field, he's a dedicated family man. The towering southpaw, now bringing his talents to Atlanta, often speaks about the importance of his wife, Brianne, and their two sons, Rylan and Landon, who are undoubtedly his biggest fans.
Rylan, born in 2012, is currently around 12 years old, while his younger brother, Landon, born in 2016, is approximately 8. Both boys have grown up around the game, frequently seen at the ballpark supporting their dad. Their presence has often been a heartwarming sight for fans, offering a glimpse into Sale’s life beyond the competitive pressures of Major League Baseball. Whether it was celebrating a World Series victory with the Red Sox or just being there for batting practice, Rylan and Landon have been a constant source of joy and motivation for their father.
A Family Rooted in Baseball
The Sale family dynamic is one of genuine support and connection. Chris has often mentioned how his boys keep him grounded and remind him of what truly matters outside the wins and losses. They've been pictured mimicking his pitching delivery, wearing their dad's jerseys, and soaking up the unique atmosphere of professional baseball. As Chris embarks on this new chapter with the Braves, the familiar faces of Rylan and Landon will surely continue to be a comforting and inspiring presence, cheering him on every step of the way.

Article posting date is in 2026 .. the son’s ages are off by 2 years. Says the older son is 12 while also saying he was born in 2012. That would make him 14yo now. Same 2 year error on the middle son. Article says he’s 8yo He would be 10yo this year
