Pitch Perfection and Goal Glory

The boys' soccer pitch was electric this spring, and the CWAC coaches recognized two exceptional talents as Co-MVPs. Toppenish senior Kristian Iñiguez Mejia earned the Offensive MVP title for his relentless attack, while Quincy senior Jesus Armando Carrillo was celebrated as Defensive Co-MVP for his impenetrable play. Carrillo was a key anchor for the Jackrabbits, who also saw senior Bryan Nuñez make the First Team. Quincy's depth was further evident with Second Team selections including senior midfielder Ramon Chavez Mendoza, senior midfielder Avian Soto, and senior forward Erick Zepeda. Honorable Mentions went to senior defender Jose Garcia, senior midfielder Dominic Plasencia, and sophomore forward Yahsiel Alvarado. Coach David Flores of Ellensburg was named Coach of the Year.

On the softball diamond, East Valley senior Preslee Weatherley was unstoppable, earning the CWAC Most Valuable Player award for her outstanding performance.
