Forget Oakland and San Fran, The 12s Just Got the ONLY NFL Schedule News That Matters for 2026

Alright, so the Bay Area teams were doing their thing last night, with the Athletics pulling off a 5-2 comeback win against the Giants at Sutter Health Park on Friday. Nick Kurtz cranked a three-run bomb that had everyone talking, but honestly, who cares? Our focus, the real energy here in the Emerald City, just got locked onto the NFL calendar. The 2026 schedule dropped, and one game for our Seahawks is already making waves, landing on the "best games" list. This is what truly matters, folks, not what went down with some other teams.

Oakland and San Fran's Friday Night Drama

Look, I'll give credit where it's due. The Athletics had a pretty wild game. They rode a four-run fifth inning to snatch that 5-2 win from the Giants. Nick Kurtz, he's the guy, belted that three-run homer that was a big deal for them. On the Giants' side, it was a frustrating loss where they just couldn't find a clutch hit. Luis Arraez did have himself a night, though, with a four-hit game and his first homer of the season, a bright spot in their defeat. Giants' manager Tony Vitello and the players reflected on what went wrong, and Tyler Mahle voiced appreciation for working with catcher Daniel Susac. We also heard Tony Vitello share an update after Heliot Ramos had to exit the game. It’s baseball, it’s May, stuff happens, but let's be real, the only thing that really got my attention was seeing what's coming for *our* Hawks.

The Seahawks-Eagles Matchup Has Us Already HYPED

THIS is the kind of news that gets the 12s buzzing! The NFL schedule for 2026 just got ranked, and guess what? Our very own Seahawks-Eagles game is officially on the list for best games of the season. You hear that? Best. Games. Of. The. Season! Right alongside Bills-Rams, which, fine, whatever. But it's our Hawks, man! Just knowing that game is circled on calendars across the league? That's HUGE. We're talking about Mike Macdonald's second year at the helm, a chance to really solidify his vision. Imagine Lumen Field absolutely rocking for that one. We'll see Sam Darnold under center, connecting with Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Rashid Shaheed, maybe even Cooper Kupp, making some insane plays against a top-tier opponent. This isn't just a game, it's a statement. It’s an early nod that the national pundits are watching our boys in green and blue, and they expect fireworks. It’s what we live for, anticipating those massive matchups. So yeah, while other teams are battling it out on the diamond in mid-May, dropping bombs and clawing for comeback wins, our eyes are already locked on what’s coming this fall for the Seahawks. We're thinking about those moments at Lumen Field, the energy, the roar. We’re still early in the regular season for MLB, and while we're always here cheering for Cal Raleigh and Julio Rodriguez at T-Mobile Park, this NFL schedule ranking just dropped a serious dose of anticipation for our football squad. Let's keep that energy up, Seattle! We're ready for everything this season throws at us.
