Framber Valdez Lost It and Drilled Trevor Story After Getting Shelled for 10 Runs

Houston Astros pitcher Framber Valdez had a day he'd probably like to forget. After getting absolutely shelled on the mound, surrendering 10 runs to the Boston Red Sox, Valdez's frustration boiled over in a big way. He plunked Trevor Story with a pitch, and that's when things got spicy. The benches cleared faster than you can say "things got heated at Fenway."

A Rough Outing Gets Worse

Sometimes a pitcher just doesn't have it. Valdez wasn't even close on this particular day. The Red Sox lit him up for 10 runs, and by the time he was still on the mound, the damage was already done. The frustration had to be boiling over. When you're getting rocked like that, emotions run high, and that's exactly what we saw when Valdez threw at Story.

Benches Empty as Things Escalate

One pitch at a batter. That's all it took. Story got hit, and immediately both benches came pouring out onto the field. It's the kind of moment that gets everyone's adrenaline pumping, teammates rushing to back up their guy, the whole scene turning into controlled chaos on the diamond.

The Final Story

The Red Sox walked away with a 10-3 win, with Brayan Bello getting the win while Valdez took the loss. It's not the kind of game any pitcher wants to remember, especially one that ends with throwing at a hitter and benches clearing. Days like this are tough, but they're part of the grind of a long season.
