Kit Harington Is STILL Defensive About GoT Season 8 and Nobody in Westeros Is Ready For It

Alright, Emerald City! You just heard what Kit Harington dropped, right? After all these years, the dude is STILL feeling “very defensive” over Game of Thrones Season 8. Can you believe it? The man, the legend, getting candid and admitting he’s still got that fire when it comes to the finale. It’s like watching your star player still repping that controversial play from years ago. You gotta respect the loyalty, but man, it makes you wonder what’s really brewing behind the scenes in Westeros. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, in the Seven Kingdoms is truly ready for this kind of continued intensity!

Harington's Unwavering Defense and the Old Guard

Seriously, Kit Harington, our guy Jon Snow, getting candid about still feeling protective over that final season? It’s a bold move, folks. He recounted finding out about Hodor’s big reveal too, showing he’s been in the trenches for a long time. It speaks volumes to the kind of commitment we’ve seen, but it also means the conversation around that ending isn't going anywhere. It’s like when we talk about a tough loss; the players carry that for years. Harington also touched on the show’s 15-year anniversary with a sweet fan story, proving that even after all the debates, the passion is still there. But this lingering defensiveness? That’s the real story right now. What does it tell us about the future of this universe when the past is still so raw?

Daemon Targaryen Is Done Playing Games and Rhaenyra's Next Move

But hey, while the old guard is still looking back, there's new blood stepping up big time, especially over in House of the Dragon. Matt Smith, playing Daemon Targaryen, is teasing a Season 3 where his character is DONE playing games. You heard that right. This isn’t practice anymore; this is go-time! Emma D’Arcy, who brings Rhaenyra to life, also dropped a chilling tease for her next move in Season 3. We're talking about high-stakes plays here! The brand-new House of the Dragon Season 3 poster is out, too, and it’s got Rhaenyra standing at the Iron Throne. But get this: no Ser Criston Cole in the main art. What’s that mean for the Fall of King’s Landing? It feels like a roster change right before a big series, and it's getting me hyped!

Duffer Brothers Mess with Fans, and Other Fantasy Picks

And it's not just Westeros heating up! The Duffer Brothers, over on Stranger Things, admit they included one moment in the finale specifically to “f**king with” fans. That’s a bold play, right? Talk about some unexpected tactics! Elsewhere, Rebecca Yarros revealed a shocking Fourth Wing plot twist that almost made it into the series. It’s like those last-minute changes to a game plan that could swing everything. Dexter Sol Ansell is teasing a Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 2, and the showrunner Ira Parker even broke down the first season’s most divisive scene. There's so much action happening, it's hard to keep up!

So, what’s next for the fandom? With Daemon done with games and Rhaenyra making her move, and Kit Harington still standing his ground, the entire fantasy landscape is buzzing. The new House of the Dragon Season 3 poster is just the beginning. You can bet we’ll be glued to every update, every tease, and every candid interview. We live for this drama, this intensity. Let’s go, fantasy faithful! What are YOU most excited to see hit the screen next?
