Messi Just Became the Fastest Player in MLS History to Hit 100 Goal Contributions

Lionel Messi has done it again. The Inter Miami CF star reached 100 goal contributions faster than any player in MLS history, hitting that milestone in a win over Toronto FC on May 9. If you've been watching MLS this season, you already know Messi is operating on another level entirely.

The Record That Matters

One hundred goal contributions. That's not just a number. That's the kind of landmark that separates the all-time greats from everyone else in this league. Messi got there faster than anyone has before, and he did it while helping Inter Miami win against Toronto. When you're talking about one of the greatest players to ever lace up a boot, records are supposed to follow. This one definitely did.

What This Means for Inter Miami

Miami has a player who is rewriting the MLS record book in real time. Every time Messi steps on the field, he's not just playing. He's creating moments that will end up in highlight reels for years. The guy is doing what he does best: finding ways to make his team better and putting the ball in dangerous places. Toronto FC found that out the hard way on May 9.

If you're not already paying attention to Inter Miami when Messi is on the pitch, you're missing some of the best soccer being played in MLS right now. This is the kind of performance that reminds everyone why he's considered one of the best to ever do it.
