Monte, Legacy, B8 Qualify Last From Stage 2, And IEM Cologne Just Got WAY Spicier

Alright, listen up, 12s, because while we're deep into the regular season grind here in the Emerald City, with our Mariners fighting on the diamond and our Seahawks getting ready for another monster year, some absolutely WILD action just went down on the virtual battlegrounds! The IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 2 officially closed its books, and man, the final teams punching their tickets to Stage 3? Monte, Legacy, and B8 clawed their way in. Seriously, these three securing the last spots just cranked up the heat for the next round of this massive tournament!

The Grind Was Real: These Teams Fought for Every Inch

You gotta love it when teams fight for every single inch, right? It’s that never-say-die attitude we love. Monte, Legacy, and B8, they weren't just handed a golden ticket to the next stage. Nope. They had to earn it the hard way, qualifying as the final three teams to squeeze out of Stage 2. This isn't some walk in the park, folks, it's the Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major, one of the biggest tournaments, where every single match, every single round, matters. Stage 2 is officially done and dusted, and these squads are now moving on to face the absolute best of the best in Stage 3. That's the kind of grit and determination we love to see, no matter the sport. It tells you everything about their fight and what's at stake.

IEM Cologne's Stacked Stage 3 Looks INSANE and Nobody's Ready For It

It's not just Monte, Legacy, and B8 that are making serious noise, either. This Major is already shaping up to be epic. A couple of days earlier, we saw 9z, BetBoom, and G2 had already locked up their own Stage 3 berths, showing some incredibly strong early tournament form. And can we talk about Spirit and FUT? Those teams just straight up cruised through Stage 2, making it look almost too easy. That's a serious statement of intent heading into what's going to be a brutal Stage 3, where every team will be trying to make a move. We're also seeing other big names around the esports world making moves, like GE and XLG, who are currently fighting to keep their playoff dreams alive over at Masters London. The competition across the board is fierce, and the numbers are getting hard to ignore. Every team wants a piece of that Major glory, and it's getting wild out there.

So, get ready, Seattle fans, because the next stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 is going to be insane. With Monte, Legacy, and B8 now in the mix, alongside some already dominant teams, Stage 3 is gonna be must-watch television for anyone who loves competition. You know we'll be here, soaking up every clutch play and every insane upset, right along with you. Let's go!
