The Granger girls also made a powerful statement in the 1A/2B classification, finishing as runner-up with a trio of phenomenal individual winners. Senior Gabrielle Berger went out in unforgettable style, earning a repeat state title. Joining her was Sonia Mendoza, who finally captured the state championship she had tirelessly pursued for four years. Adding to the excitement, freshman Vanessa Torres burst onto the scene with her first state title, immediately launching her bid for a rare four-peat of her own.
