Out-of-Form Gio Reyna Makes The USMNT World Cup Roster, And Nobody In America Is Ready For It!
Alright, buckle up, Emerald City soccer fanatics! The 2026 USMNT World Cup roster predictions are officially starting to drop, and Brian Sciaretta, a guy who genuinely knows his stuff, just threw out his latest take. It's got a name that's gonna get everyone talking: Gio Reyna. Yeah, that Gio Reyna. Despite what's been a seriously "different" season for him, Sciaretta's prediction puts him squarely on the squad heading to the biggest stage. What?! You gotta be kidding me, right? This news is wild!
The Bundesliga Rollercoaster for Reyna and Scally
Talk about a tale of two seasons over in the Bundesliga, man! Our American boys, Gio Reyna and Joe Scally, both rocking the Borussia Monchengladbach kit, have been on wildly different rides. Sciaretta's breaking down their stories, and honestly, you can just feel how much their club form in Germany affects their dreams of playing for the Stars and Stripes in 2026. Reyna, for all his undeniable talent, has had a "very different season" compared to his teammate. This fact makes his predicted inclusion on the World Cup roster all the more eye-opening. We're talking about a player whose form has been a huge question mark, yet he's still right there in the mix. Still, you can't ignore the pedigree: he's sitting at a solid #5 on the ASN 100 list. The conversation around his current form versus this massive roster spot is going to be absolutely wild. Is this a vote of confidence, or a gamble?
