President Donald Trump Has Reportedly Been Taken To Walter Reed Medical Center, and Nobody in Seattle Is Ready For It

Okay, 12s, let's be real. We're usually here to break down Julio Rodriguez's latest homer or what the heck happened with the Kraken's power play, but today, the news cycle took a hard left turn. Like, seriously, what is even happening? The report is out there, loud and clear: President Donald Trump has reportedly been taken to Walter Reed Medical Center. We’re all trying to figure out what this means, but it's the kind of news that stops you mid-scroll, for sure.

The Wild Distractions Hitting the Airwaves

Now, I know what you’re thinking: what does this have to do with the Mariners, the Seahawks, or even the Sounders' latest call-up, Cristian Roldan? And honestly, the source material for this whole situation is... well, it’s not exactly what we expected. While this massive piece of news about the President drops, the internet is also buzzing with wild stuff. Hannah Brown has more love stories to tell, apparently. And get this: the cast of Off Campus is revealing who they'd call to bail them out of jail. Who even thinks about that during regular season, right? Then there's chatter about Hilary Duff's style from 25 years ago and the absolute cheapest way to get Olivia Rodrigo tickets to The Unraveled Tour. The price might even "make you drop dead." We're talking about sunscreens too, like EltaMD UV Clear Blemish-Prone & Oil Balancing SPF 50 for $49, Ultra Violette Sequin Supreme SPF 50 for $36, Bubble Mineral Sunscreen Stick Broad Spectrum SPF 40 for $15, and Tatcha The Milk Sunscreen SPF 50 for $50. Plus, we’re seeing articles on initial jewelry, the 13 best red light therapy devices, and how to get Tretinoin online without a trip to the dermatologist. Bruno Mars tickets for The Romantic Tour and how to get BTS tickets are also making waves. It's enough to make you miss the simple days of debating Sam Darnold's passing yards!

Beyond the Field: What Else Is Dominating the News?

And it just keeps going. Don Jr. is reportedly eyeing a presidential run, sparking debates about if his dad views him as "competition" after skipping his wedding. "He’s moving like someone who fully expects to run one day," the report states. Then you've got the British Royals, with Harry reportedly "frozen out" by George Clooney amid claims William "played" a role in their "distance," leaving Harry feeling "embarrassed & rejected." Talk about an unexpected power play! Even Hugh Jackman is reportedly "angry" Naomi Watts and Russell Crowe are "ditching" him for his ex-wife as his divorce "spirals beyond a normal breakup." The actor thinks it's "incredibly unfair." Nicole Kidman is reportedly "crushing" on a younger Australian star who's apparently had the hots for her since he was 15, and her daughters with Keith Urban are "huge fans" of him. Lastly, Ivanka Trump is reportedly "deeply shaken" by a "frightening real" assassination attempt. So, what’s next for us, folks? Usually, we'd be hyping up the next game at T-Mobile Park or looking forward to what Jaxon Smith-Njigba is cooking up on Lumen Field. But with President Trump reportedly at Walter Reed, and all this other... *stuff* swirling around, it’s hard to focus on anything else. We’ll be here, keeping an eye on everything, because you know Seattle On Tap always brings you the real talk, no matter how wild the news gets. Stay strong, Seattle!
