Scottie Scheffler Is Getting Chirped By Eagles Fans, And The NFL's Rivalries Are ALREADY Heating Up

Alright, Emerald City! You gotta see this wildness coming out of the East Coast. It's barely May, right? We're still deep in the grind of early MLB action, watching our Mariners battle it out, dreaming of what the Seahawks roster will look like in a few months. But Philly fans? Man, they operate on a different timeline. They're already going full throttle, way ahead of schedule. We’re talking about them straight-up chirping pro golfer Scottie Scheffler, telling him their Eagles are gonna absolutely smash the Cowboys this coming Thanksgiving. Yeah, you heard that right. Thanksgiving! These folks truly don't mess around.

Philly's Wild Thanksgiving Talk Hits The Links

Seriously, who even thinks like this? Scottie Scheffler, a golfer, is out there doing his thing, sinking putts and chasing titles, completely removed from the gridiron. But apparently, he's fair game when it comes to the legendary, often unhinged, trash talk of Eagles fans. They're using him, a professional golfer, as the vehicle for their NFL hype. It’s not enough to wait for the actual NFL season to even *start* in September, or for the schedule release to drop. Nope. They're dropping the hammer on the Cowboys, predicting a Thanksgiving Day smackdown months and months in advance. We’re talking about a game that’s still more than half a year away, and the verbal jabs are already flying this hard. You gotta respect the sheer, audacious commitment, even if it’s completely bonkers and totally out of pocket.

When Rivalries Never Sleep

This whole situation just goes to show you that some rivalries, man, they truly never, ever sleep. And the Eagles-Cowboys beef? It's on a whole other level. This isn't just about hyping a regular season game. This is about *Thanksgiving Day football*, one of the biggest, most tradition-rich stages in the entire league. Think about it: families gathered, turkey coma setting in, and then you’ve got these two titans clashing. For Eagles fans to be this loud, this early, about a game that’s still so far off, it tells you everything you need to know about the deep, burning intensity between those two teams. It’s wild, it’s petty, it’s completely unnecessary in May, and it’s pure, unadulterated NFL rivalry at its absolute finest. It’s a level of dedication to smack talk that makes you wonder if those fans ever take a break. So, while we're over here in the Pacific Northwest, glued to every pitch from Cal Raleigh and Julio Rodriguez at T-Mobile Park, and wondering how Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba are gonna tear it up for the Hawks this fall, let's just keep an eye on this East Coast drama. Will the Eagles actually smash the Cowboys on Thanksgiving like their fans are already screaming about? Who knows. But you can bet your last dollar the Philly faithful, and probably even Scottie Scheffler by now, won't let us forget it. This kind of raw, passionate, totally premature energy is what makes the NFL what it is, even if it’s coming from unexpected corners and months before kickoff! Get ready, because the season of chirping is officially open.
