Super Bowl LXIV is Nashville's, But the Only Game That Matters For the 12s Is Already Rolling at Lumen Field
Alright, 12s, grab a cold one and listen up. The news dropped today: Nashville, yeah, Music City, just officially landed Super Bowl LXIV in 2030. They're gonna host the big one at their shiny new Nissan Stadium. Pretty wild, right? But let's be honest, while that's cool for them, our heads are already deep in what's happening right here, right now, in the Emerald City. Our focus? It's on our Hawks, our Kraken, our M's, and our Sounders, every single second of the early regular season.
That 2030 Super Bowl News? It's Way Down the Road.
Okay, so Nashville gets the spotlight for Super Bowl LXIV. That's a huge deal for their city, hosting the big one at their new Nissan Stadium in 2030. It's a major event for the league, sure. But for us, for the passionate fan base that bleeds green and blue, 2030 feels like a lifetime away. We're not looking seven years down the road for the big story. We're living the big story every week, every game, with our teams. The league's bigger narrative about where the Super Bowl lands is fine, but our narrative, the one that truly matters, is unfolding right here, right now.

Forget 2030 for a second. We're deep in the early regular season here, and the action is *electric* at Lumen Field. We're watching our Seahawks, seeing what Coach Mike Macdonald is building, what OC Brian Fleury is cooking up. This is where the season truly starts to take shape. How are our guys gelling? We're talking about Sam Darnold stepping into that QB role, connecting with weapons like Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, and the veteran Cooper Kupp. Every practice, every snap, it's about finding that rhythm, establishing dominance.
This early stretch is crucial for seeing the team's form, tracking player performance, and figuring out what's emerging as our identity. We're looking for those early trends, for the health of our squad, because every single game in this early part of the season sets the tone for everything that follows. The energy the 12s bring to Lumen Field pushes them every Sunday, demanding excellence. We're watching intently, because this isn't just about a few games, it's about the foundation for a run.
So yeah, Nashville can plan their big party for 2030. That's their moment. But our moment? It's happening right now. It's about our Mariners, with Cal Raleigh and Julio Rodriguez battling it out on the diamond. It's about our Kraken, featuring Matty Beniers, Jordan Eberle, and Jared McCann, bringing the thunder to Climate Pledge Arena. It's about our Sounders, with Cristian Roldan and Jordan Morris, owning the pitch. We're focused on the grind, the fight, and the pure passion of Seattle sports, week in and week out. The next game is always the biggest game, and we're ready. Let's go, Seattle!
