The 2026 WIAA Baseball Brackets Are Here and Nobody in Washington Is Ready For It

Alright, Seattle, listen up! Forget everything else, because the real show is about to begin. The 2026 Washington high school baseball playoffs are officially kicking off, and if you bleed green and blue like I do, you know this is where future legends are born. First-Round action starts *this week*, running from May 19-23, and you better believe the stakes are sky-high for every single squad across the state. We're talking championship dreams, folks!

Who's Playing When and Where It All Ends

So, here's the deal on how the initial bracket breaks down. Classes 1B and 3A are first up, hitting the diamond for their opening games on May 19. Then, on May 23, Classes 1A, 2A, 2B, and 4A jump into the fray, ready to make their own statement. Remember longtime coach Derek Bingham? He led Lake Washington to a third WIAA baseball championship in 2025, and now every team out there is hungry to claim that crown. It's going to be a battle royale! And where does all this amazing baseball culminate? The 2026 WIAA state championships are set for May 29-30. Classes 1A and 2A will duke it out at Joe Martin Stadium in Bellingham. For Classes 1B and 2B, it's all happening at Wood Field at Carlon Park in Selah. And if you're pulling for Classes 3A and 4A, get ready to head to Everett Memorial Stadium. Three different venues, one goal: hoisting that state championship trophy!
