You don't get that kind of praise from a teammate at the highest level without serious talent to back it up. If Rudiger, who lives and breathes elite defense, is saying that, then Schlotterbeck isn't just good, he's exactly what Real Madrid needs to dominate.

Mourinho Is Back, And Rudiger Is Hyped

And because one massive piece of news isn't enough, Rudiger also threw in some spicy comments about the return of Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid and the expected appointment of Sami Khedira to the coaching staff. It's like a reunion tour of legends! Rudiger's excitement was palpable, saying, "I can't say much about Khedira yet. But I'm really looking forward to Mourinho. Finally, I get the chance to work under him." He mentioned all the past conversations that never panned out, but "Now, finally, it has." This is a massive development for the club's direction, bringing in a manager Rudiger clearly respects and has wanted to play for for ages. So what does this mean for Real Madrid? With Rudiger hyping up Schlotterbeck's incredible skills and the "Special One" Jose Mourinho back at the helm, the club is clearly gearing up for a season of serious intent. Adding a defender with a "gold" left foot, who's aggressive and a set-piece threat, could solidify that backline in a massive way. And with Rudiger stoked to work with Mourinho, you know the locker room energy is going to be electric. Get ready, Real Madrid fans, this next season is going to be something else.
