The 4-Star Recruit Michigan Snagged? We're Too Busy With Sam Darnold *Right Now*, Emerald City!

Alright, Seattle, listen up! It's May 17, 2026, and while the college football world is buzzing about Michigan landing some 4-star wide receiver named Quentin Burrell for their 2027 class, let me be crystal clear: we, the 12s, the passionate fans of the Emerald City, could not care less. Seriously. A high schooler committing three years out? Our focus is squarely on our teams, our city, and what's happening *right now*!

Who Cares About the Future When the Present Is Electric?!

You know what we're actually fired up about? Our Seahawks, that's what! Head Coach Mike Macdonald and Offensive Coordinator Brian Fleury are cooking something up at Lumen Field, and we're ready for it. We've got Sam Darnold under center, and you know he's putting in the work. Our receiving corps? Stacked! Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, and the veteran Cooper Kupp, these guys are our weapons. We're not daydreaming about some recruit in 2027, we're thinking about the next practice, the next game, the next chance to prove what our guys can do. This is our team, these are our players, and every single one of them is what matters to us as we head deeper into the calendar year.

From T-Mobile Park to Climate Pledge, Our Teams Are Here!

And it's not just the Seahawks, is it? We've got action all over this city! Over at T-Mobile Park, our Mariners are battling every single night. Cal Raleigh behind the plate is a rock, and Julio Rodriguez in center field? Pure electricity. Every swing, every catch, every moment they're on the field, that's what we live for. No time for distant college commitments when our M's are in the thick of it.

Then you hit the ice at Climate Pledge Arena, and our Kraken are bringing that gritty, never-say-die attitude. Matty Beniers, our captain Jordan Eberle, Jared McCann, Chandler Stephenson, Berkly Catton, Kaapo Kakko, Tye Kartye, these forwards are making plays! And on defense, you've got Adam Larsson, Vince Dunn, and Brandon Montour holding it down, with Joey Daccord guarding the net. Every single one of them is fighting for the badge, every single night. We're dialed into every face-off, every shift. And let's not forget our Sounders FC, with Cristian Roldan recently representing the USMNT, and Jordan Morris leading the charge. They're out there, grinding, making us proud on the pitch.

So yeah, Michigan landed a recruit. Good for them. But here in Seattle, we're invested in the now. We're looking at our rosters, our current stars, and the immediate future of our teams. We're focused on the grind, the competition, and the unwavering passion of the 12s. What's next? More Seattle sports, more cheering, and more proof that our city's teams are the only ones that truly matter. Let's go!
