The Rams' Doctor Backed Conor McGregor's PEDs and MLB Has Questions, Seattle Fans!

Holy cow, Seattle, you are NOT going to believe what's cooking in the sports world! Dr. Neal ElAttrache, the big-shot sports doctor who works with the Rams, is officially under the microscope. We're talking about his support for UFC fighter Conor McGregor's PED use, and guess who's stepping in? Major League Baseball, that's who. This ain't just some rumor, this is the New York Times dropping a report, and it hits way too close to home when the integrity of the game we love is on the line.

MLB Is Asking the Hard Questions

Why does MLB care about a UFC fighter, you ask? Here's the kicker: Dr. ElAttrache also pulls double duty as the Dodgers’ team physician. That's right, the same guy allegedly giving a nod to Conor McGregor's performance-enhancing drug decisions is also on staff with a *baseball* team. Michael Schmidt from the New York Times reported that MLB investigators are now set to question ElAttrache directly. Their mission? To truly understand why he supported McGregor's PED choice and, even more critically for *our* Mariners and the entire league, to determine if this prominent doctor has ever given the green light for PED use to baseball players. This is about the very integrity of the game we love at T-Mobile Park.

The NFL's Crickets Are Deafening

Now, let's switch gears to the gridiron, because Dr. ElAttrache isn't just a diamond-side doc. He's also the physician for those Los Angeles Rams, our biggest rivals down south in the NFC. You’d think the NFL would be all over this, right? Protecting player integrity, especially when a doctor linked to multiple major sports is involved? You'd think! But get this: The New York Times reached out directly to the NFL, asking point blank if *they* would be interviewing ElAttrache. And you know what they got back? Crickets. A huge, resounding silence. The NFL did not respond for comment, which is, frankly, pretty wild given the gravity of these accusations and what they could mean for the competitive balance we fight for every Sunday at Lumen Field. So, where do we stand? MLB has stated they're currently unaware of any claim that ElAttrache engaged in similar behavior with baseball players. But the fact that they're even *asking these questions* speaks volumes about the seriousness. This isn't just some Hollywood drama, Seattle. This is about trust, about integrity, and about making sure the sports we bleed green and blue for are played fair. We're talking about the fundamental fairness of every Mariners game, every Seahawks drive. We'll be keeping a very close eye on this one, folks, because when a story like this drops, you know there’s more to come. Get ready for updates, 12s, because this could truly shake up the landscape.
