Thomas Jordan Kept *That* Taylor Swift Secret Since February, and Our Emerald City Needs to Talk About It

Alright, fam, you know I live and breathe Seahawks, Mariners, Kraken, Sounders. I've got my eyes glued to every pitch, every puck drop, every snap, especially as our teams are grinding through the early regular season. But sometimes, even when the focus should be squarely on the field or the ice, some wild stuff from outside the arena just smacks you in the face. And seriously, we gotta talk about this Thomas Jordan cat. Dude, the VFX supervisor for *Toy Story 5*? He's been sitting on a Taylor Swift secret since February, and apparently, they even had to make a whole 'decoy version' of the movie without it. What even IS that?

That Taylor Swift Reveal Is Wild, Right?

I'm telling you, this is like finding out Cal Raleigh has a secret pitch he's been hiding, or Julio has a new walk-up song under wraps since February. The tension, the build-up! Thomas Jordan, the VFX supervisor for *Toy Story 5*, just dropped a bombshell at a SXSW London panel. The dude revealed he's known about a Taylor Swift song for the movie for *months*, since February! Can you even imagine keeping that kind of intel under wraps for so long? And get this, they literally had to create a 'decoy version of the film' *without* the song just to keep the secret. That's some serious spy-level stuff, like trying to keep Sam Darnold's new playbook under wraps from the league. You gotta wonder, what IS this mystery song? And how do you keep something that massive locked down for so long? It shows you the dedication, or maybe paranoia, in Hollywood these days.

Box Office Battles and Heartfelt Farewells

Beyond the Swift bomb, we've got other action, though it's not on Lumen Field or the T-Mobile Park diamond. *Scary Movie 6* just hit theaters, pulling $7.7 million in previews. Carmen Electra's back, apparently 'hilarious' and rocking a six-pack. You gotta respect that commitment, even in acting! Meanwhile, *Masters of the Universe* previews pulled in $4.4 million. It's all about those early returns, right? Also, on a much more somber note, we lost a legend this week. Anthony Head, Rupert Giles from *Buffy the Vampire Slayer* and Rupert Mannion from *Ted Lasso*, passed away at 72. That one stings a bit, man. He was a staple on our screens, a true veteran performer. Definitely a moment to pause and reflect. So yeah, a lot happening out there in the world, even beyond the green and blue we bleed. But you know what we're *really* focused on right now, with early season battles heating up? The next game. Whether it's our Mariners hitting the field at T-Mobile Park, grinding through these early regular season matchups to set the tone, or the Kraken getting ready to drop the puck at Climate Pledge Arena, looking to build some crucial early momentum, that's where our heads are. Still, you gotta respect the hustle, even in Hollywood. What other wild secret's gonna drop next? Who knows! But our eyes are fixed firmly on the Emerald City's teams. Let's get it, Seattle, go 'Hawks, go M's, go Kraken, go Sounders!
