Those LAFC Clowns Just Snagged a Defender And It's Not For Their World Cup Crew
Alright, Emerald City, listen up, because even when those Black & Gold clowns from LA are supposedly on "break" for the summer, they're still making noise. Can you believe it? LAFC just went out and grabbed defender Yevhen Cheberko from the Columbus Crew. This is happening right now, even with their team taking a summer break and the FIFA World Cup 2026 on the horizon.LAFC Shuffles the Backline Deck
So, while we're over here focused on our own Seattle teams, those folks down south are making moves. Yevhen Cheberko, a defender, is now officially part of LAFC's roster after coming over from the Columbus Crew. It's a curious bit of timing, considering the source says LAFC is on a "summer break." They're acquiring new talent while a chunk of their team isn't even around to meet them yet. Talk about a weird way to start building chemistry.World Cup Bound, While the Home Team Gets a New Face
And here's where it gets even stranger. LAFC has four of its own players heading off to enjoy an action-packed summer at the FIFA World Cup 2026. While those guys are getting ready for some serious action on the global stage, LAFC is over here making roster moves. It's almost like they're building for something beyond that, isn't it? What's their plan while a quarter of their key guys are gone? Oh, and speaking of gone, they also mutually agreed to part ways with another defender, Lorenzo Dellavalle. So, one new defender in, one out. Classic LAFC chaos, trying to piece things together before their full squad even returns from international duty. So, with Cheberko joining, and Dellavalle gone, those LAFC folks are definitely shaking things up during their "summer break." While four of their guys are off to the FIFA World Cup 2026, it'll be interesting to see how this new backline looks when they eventually get back to action. We'll be keeping our eyes on it, because you know we always want to see what our rivals are cooking up. Go Sounders!🐦 What fans are saying on X
