Victor Wembanyama Ejected in Game 4 After Flagrant 2 Elbow to Naz Reid's Chin

Victor Wembanyama's Game 4 performance came to an abrupt and ugly end when he was ejected in the first half for a flagrant 2 foul. The Spurs star swung his elbow directly into the chin of Timberwolves forward Naz Reid, drawing the immediate ejection and leaving San Antonio without one of its most dominant players in a critical playoff moment.

The Play That Changed Everything

It was a reckless swing that caught Reid square in the chin, and the refs had no choice but to call it a flagrant 2. In the Western Conference semifinals, every possession matters, every player matters, and losing Wembanyama to an ejection in the first half is the kind of momentum killer that can swing an entire series. The Spurs were already fighting for their playoff lives, and now they had to do it without their franchise centerpiece on the floor.

What's Next for the Spurs

The Spurs have a chance to stay alive with a win Sunday night in Minnesota. If they can pull that off, they could wrap up the seven-game series on Tuesday night and advance to the Western Conference finals. But that road just got a whole lot harder without their best player available for the entire first half of Game 4.
