Addison Barger Is Back in the Blue Jays Lineup and Toronto Isn't Waiting Around
The Toronto Blue Jays just got some help in the outfield. Addison Barger has been reinstated from the injured list, and the team is ready to use him as they push forward in May. No more waiting around for reinforcements to arrive.
One Less Thing to Worry About
Injuries have been a pain point for a lot of teams early in the season, and Toronto was no exception. Getting Barger back in the fold means the Blue Jays can stop leaning so hard on whoever was filling that outfield hole while he was sidelined. The timing matters when you're trying to build momentum, and May is exactly when teams start separating themselves from the rest of the pack.

The Blue Jays are already facing off against the Angels, and they'll be looking to keep a series going with a low-ERA pitcher in Trey Yesavage taking the mound for the team. Having Barger available gives the lineup more flexibility and depth, which matters in a grind like a full season. Every at-bat counts when you're trying to stay competitive.
