Cunningham's Takeover and the Cavs' Worst Nightmare: Detroit Up 2-0

The Pistons are one win away from sending the Cavaliers home, and it's Cade Cunningham who has Cleveland looking completely rattled. Detroit pulled away for a 107-97 victory in Game 2, and now they hold a commanding 2-0 series lead with all the momentum heading back home.

Harden's Playoff Meltdown Gets Worse

James Harden is supposed to be the closer. Instead, he's become the problem. The All-Star finished with just 10 points on 3-of-13 shooting, including an ugly 0-for-4 from three. But the real killer? Four turnovers, with one essentially putting the game away for Detroit down the stretch. When your second superstar goes silent in a playoff game, you don't recover. Not against a team playing this sharp.

Cunningham Takes Over When It Matters Most

This is what separates good teams from great ones. The Pistons' young core isn't panicking. Cunningham lifted his squad when they needed a bucket most, and his performance in Game 2 is exactly why Detroit came in as a threat nobody wanted to face. The Cavs had no answer for his pace and efficiency, and now they're looking at an elimination game sooner than anyone expected.

Cleveland's Window Is Closing Fast

Down 2-0 in a best-of-seven series feels survivable on paper. In reality, it's a death sentence if the defending champs keep playing like this. Harden has to be better. The entire offense needs to find rhythm, and fast. Game 3 is must-win territory, and the Cavs know it.

The Pistons are one victory away from advancing. Cleveland needs to figure out how to stop Cunningham and get Harden back to form, or this series is over sooner than anyone in Cleveland wants to admit.
