Dorman Volleyball Snagged a Three-Peat State Title and the Whole State Is Still Buzzing

Alright, Seattle On Tap fam, listen up. While we're all geared up for our Mariners and getting hyped for the Seahawks, sometimes you gotta tip your cap to incredible sports stories happening elsewhere. And trust me, the Upstate girls' sports scene just dropped some absolute BOMBSHELLS this season! We're talking championship runs, historic firsts, and grit that would make any 12th Man proud. The ballot is officially open, and you get to cast your multiple votes for which team truly owned their season. This isn't just about winning, it's about pure, undeniable dominance!

Three-Peat Glory and Historic Firsts That Define a Season

Can we talk about Dorman volleyball for a second? Seriously, three straight state championships! That's not just a win, that's a dynasty, people. They've built something special, and watching them dominate like that, it just makes you appreciate the grind. To keep that level of excellence for three consecutive seasons? That's just wild. Then you got Crescent softball, pulling off their first state title in over a decade. Over a decade! That's a drought-ender right there, pure celebration for their fans. And Woodmont girls volleyball, winning their first state title in program history? Come on, that's the stuff legends are made of. You love to see a team break through like that, defying expectations and etching their name in the record books.

Champions and Gritty Runner-Ups Who Left It All Out There

But wait, there's more! Pickens girls volleyball snatched the Class 4A state championship, another huge win for that program. They showed up and showed out, proving they belonged at the top. And Powdersville girls volleyball, they weren't messing around either, taking home the Class 3A state championship. That's two more banners going up, two more communities celebrating pure athletic triumph! And you know what? Even the runner-ups showed heart. Greenville girls basketball fought their way to the Class 5A-D2 state title game, battling hard every step of the way. J.L. Mann girls soccer did the same, clawing their way to be runner-ups for the Class 5A-D1 state title. That kind of fight, that kind of drive, it deserves major respect. It's about leaving it all out there, every single game, and inspiring the next generation.

So there you have it, folks. A season packed with insane moments, from historic wins to incredible runs. Now, the ball is in your court, literally. The poll to crown the best Upstate girls sports team closes Thursday at noon. Get in there, cast your multiple votes, and let's celebrate the pure passion and talent these teams showed us. You know we appreciate that grind, that dedication, just like we see it in our own Emerald City heroes. Let's make our voices heard!
